Our new ElectroKlima systems deliver both heating AND cooling. No more factory heat exchangers, no more ducting, flaps, levers, boden cables and oily smells in the cabin. 

The ElectroKlima GTS is our new 'touring spec' 12v Electric system for the G Body Porsche 911 - a complete HVAC system for air cooled (1973-1989) 911's, with heating and cooling capability. The GTS is complete with a new digital 'Slide Controller' dash mounted climate control system - paired with servo controlled blend valves giving precise control of airflow and cooling / heating. 

Everything in this system is an entirely new design, with only hoses and fittings carried over from our established 12v ElectroCooler A/C systems. This system has been in development and testing for over three years and represents a huge step forward in system performance and user benefits over our A/C ElectroCooler system. 

This system includes:

Mk3 HVAC Blower Evaporator Unit:
Our new and improved version of the tried and tested 'Gen2' blower, with a brand new custom designed evaporator with increased heat exchange capacity.

Digital Dash Slide Control Unit:
Our new digital slide control unit replaces the factory mechanical unit entirely -  finally, no more sticky bowden cables or broken blend valves to deal with!  The factory heater and fan controls (and blend valves) in these cars are often in poor shape, and even when they are serviceable, the user experience is poor. Our sliders use mixing desk hardware for a buttery smooth but positive feel, paired with a beautifully engineered case that will have 911 aficionados looking twice. We love the 'OE+' look here at Classic Retrofit, and we think we have pitched this one just right - and we hope you agree! In the GTS the contoller is all housed in this dash mounted unit, so no remote ECU is required. NB The ECU (in the RS system) only has the HVAC cooling to manage, this unit also takes car of the vent positioning. This is available in LHD and RHD formats and options will be available to order at launch. 

Servo Controlled Blend Valves:
Paired with the new slide controller, our new servo controlled blend valves mean that all of the aging mechanical equipment can be deleted and replaced, delivering a massive upgrade in control and airflow over the standard (often broken or absent) factory equipment. 

12v Enhanced Enthalpy Electric HVAC Compressor (CAN controlled):
We are the sole supplier of this unique 12v electric compressor technology - which is the heart of our Electroklima systems. This technology allows for the system to provide cooling and heating with the heat exchnagers (the condenser and evaporator) to change roles - allowing each item to either absorb or expel heat, depending on the users needs. 

Compressor and Battery Bracket:
The new ElectroKlima compressor is slightly larger than the ElectroCooler and as such it will not fit inside the LHD 'smugglers box'. This new bracket holds the compressor and the battery.  The ElectroKlima is designed to be used with an Odyssey Extreme ODS-AGM28L battery, to be supplied by the customer. This battery maintains normal vehicle operation and power output whilst its smaller packaging allows for optimal postioning of the pump in the existing battery location.

Hard / insulated - refrigerant lines:
Our new refrigerant 'hardlines' provide a neat OE look, improve system performance and are simple and easy to install. The hardlines simplify the installation of the hoses in the frunk, reduce the weight, and improve performance. They look pretty clean too - the design and appearance of this system fits perfectly with focussed, stripped out builds without any frunk lining or carpeting.

Single quad pass condenser with fan and shroud:
We have created an entirely new condenser for the ElektroKlima system, using the same packaging format as our previous condenser but with additional performance unlocked using clever port placement and an increase from triple to quad pass. The kit will ship with a single condenser - our testing shows this is suitable for most climates. A second condenser kit is available using our standard triple pass condenser gan and shroud. 

Wiring Loom:
The CAN control system enables a simpler harness arrangement (than previous A/C systems) for ease of install and simplicity. 

Fittings Kit (pad fittings and clips etc):
Our pad fittings and clips allow for easy install, with hoses supplied for flexible condenser installation. 

Flash Evaporator Tank:
HVAC systems use a flash evaporator device rather than a drier, as this item has to works 'in two directions' whereas the drier works in line with a traditional A/C system and has a much simpler task. 

2x Directional Under Dash Ducts:
We include 2x 'UnderDash Directional Ducts' in the kit, these allow the user to control and direc airflow under the dash. 

The system has been tested with results of 35'c ambient - down to 9'c at the vent, at -5'c ambient cabin heating to 25'c at the vent. Please note that results will vary depending heavily on component placement, vehicle insulation, vehicle tints. vent placement etc.

Both the GTS and RS share the same compressor, condenser, hardlines, blower - everything except the control system, and ducting / air from the blower to vents.
