As you will have seen on our previous blog post - our good friend Tamrin has spent many hours perfecting this '930GT' 911 build - including some ingenious engineering that takes our A/C system to the next level.

In this new Youtube video, world-renowned car culture and commercial automotive photographer from Los Angeles Larry Chen explores a 1985 930 Turbo meticulously restored and customized by an architect - Tamrin Hamzah.

This tasteful "OEM plus" build features extensive weight savings through custom carbon fiber components and modern technological upgrades designed to make the classic sports car more drivable in tropical climates while preserving its character.

In the video, Tamrin and Larry discuss the side benefits of perfecting the design and manufacture of carbon fibre composites in the home workshop:
Larry: "I see here, you made yourself in your own autoclave! What does your wife say about you having an autoclave at home?"
Tamrin: "That's a very big pizza oven! You can make pizzas in there and they come out tasting really good!"

If you are lucky enough to be in Malaysia this weekend, and you have tickets to the LUFTWASSER show you will find Tamrin and this 930GT in the flesh, together with a display of Classic Retrofit products, including A/C systems, CDI ignition boxes, Fuse panels and upgraded Alternators.

This is the first event for Tamrin's new venture - TH Autokraf, providing bespoke 911 build services as well as representing 9eleven headlights, Rarlyl8 exhaust systems and Meguiars Karrus detailing products.
All of these products feature in the 930GT build and will be on display at the show.

We're delighted to be partnering with Tamrin and his new venture THAutokraf and look forward to sharing more news as we collaborate further. In the meantime, we'll let the video do the rest of the talking !
