Classic Retrofit is excited to announce a new partnership with Revive Automotive GmbH as the official installation partner of the company’s innovative electric A/C systems - for customers with classic Porsche 911's in Germany and northern Europe.
Hannover-based Revive Automotive GmbH specialise in electric conversions of classic vehicles including long-bonnet and impact-bumper 911s, with notable projects including the Blitzster and Blitzster Turbo. Max Carstensen’s engineering company will provide a dedicated one-stop shop solution for customers wishing to have our weight-saving and comfort-enhancing air conditioning system – electrically operated via 12V rather than driven by a belt – fitted to their air-cooled Porsche. “The origins of our 12v electric air conditioning comes from electric vehicles, and Revive are EV and automotive electronics specialists,” said Jonny Hart, founder of Classic Retrofit, confirming the partnership. 
This new move towards an official tie-up builds handsomely on a long-standing relationship between the two electrical engineering specialists: Revive has been using Classic Retrofit’s air conditioning systems for years in its EV conversions, where a particular focus has been placed on Porsche’s timeless 911. More than 10 fully EV-converted Porsche 911s by Revive are rolling successfully on roads all over Europe, with the number of conversions continuing to grow year on year. Revive’s expertise and experience in the field means they are well placed to execute a quality installation of our electric A/C into a classic 911, crucially without making any modifications such as drilling or cutting, protecting the integrity and authenticity of Porsche’s original sports car icon.
